PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal projector device capable of easily correcting color irregularities occurring on an video image by dividing red, green, and/or blue video(s) into plural areas based on a synchronizing signal of a video signal, and displaying red, green, and blue videos obtained by controlling the amplification degrees on each corresponding liquid crystal panel. SOLUTION: An amplifier 11 can receive a voltage control signal S20 from a color irregularity correcting circuit 12, and adjusts each white balance of the red, green, and blue component video signals S1, 2, 3, and transmits the green component signal S22 as is, to a gamma-correction circuit 4. Concerning the red and blue component signals S1, 3, the amplifier outputs red and blue component adjusted signals S21, 23, which are obtained by adjusting the amplification degrees based on the voltage control signal S20, to the gamma-correction circuit 4. The gamma-correction circuit 4 applies gamma-correction to the red, green, and blue component signals S21, 22, 23, respectively and outputs the gamma-corrected red, green, and blue component signals thus obtained to a liquid crystal drive circuit 5.
