PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate torsionally gripped chopsticks having a possibility of inducing a wrong way of use and to derive a correct motion by drawing the arrangement of fingers at the chopsticks and attaching and connecting a partially corrugated loose elastic belt rod to the tops of the chopsticks. SOLUTION: The tops of two pieces of the chopsticks are connected by the partially corrugated loose elastic belt rod such that if a user holds the chopstick of the lower side, the drop of the chopstick of the supper side does not occur and the user is able to concentrate in the correct way of holding and using. The partially corrugated loose elastic belt rod is an elastic belt rod, like a belt of a broad width and corrugated at the contact point with the chopsticks and connects two pieces of the chopsticks so as to maintain a spacing between the tops of the chopsticks when not in use. For example, the tops 10 and 11 of the two pieces of the chopsticks are connected to each other by the partially corrugated loose elastic belt rod 7. The corrugated shape portions 8 and 9 are disposed at the mounting portions to the chopsticks. The partially corrugated loose elastic belt rod 7 is bent and mounted to the chopsticks in such a manner that the spacing is maintained between the tops 10 and 11 of the chopsticks when not in use. The as-viewed condition of the fingers when correctly using the chopsticks are projected toward the center of the chopsticks and are marked at the chopsticks. As a result, the user is able to visually check the correct arrangement of the finger and the actual conditions.
