PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a film surface from being damaged because a film is electrified and stuck to a device main body when a 135 mm film is scanned with an image reader reading the image from a plurality of types of films. SOLUTION: The front surface of the device main body is provided with dot-like projections 11 or rail-like projections so as to reduce the contact area between the film and the front surface. The dot-like projections 11 or the rail- like projections are formed at positions abutting on parts where the perforations of the film are formed. Thus, the image surface of the film is prevented from being damaged.
