PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a display with low cost and a high grade. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method is at least provided with a step (b) which forms a photosensitive coating layer 104 on a substrate 103, a step (d) which forms a prescribed pattern of an opened groove part 106 at the photosensitive coating layer 104, a step (e) which embeds a partition wall material in the opened groove part 106 by a thermal spraying method, and a step (g) which obtains a prescribed shape of a partition wall 107 by burning the photosensitive coating layer 104 in a high temperature atmosphere containing oxygen. It is made difficult to adhere the partition wall material to the surface of an upper resist layer by forming the photosensitive coating layer 104 into a two- layer resist structure, and using a soft material for the upper resist layer.
