The notice board comprises a box with a window which may be opened or removed and which contains a panel (6) to which notices may be attached. This may be made of light-diffusing material if the box contains a light source (5). The panel can slide on vertical slides (13) which are mounted so that they can pivot on a horizontal axle (14) at the top of the panel. It also has a support mechanism (15, 22) which allows it to rest in an inclined position outside the box.
