PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a directional antenna which is small and whose structure is simple by specifying the lengths of plural third conductors. SOLUTION: A chip antenna CA1 is formed of a dielectric material, or a magnetic material or the mix material of the dielectric material and the magnetic material. The antenna has a substrate 11 having insulating property, a first linear conductor 12a and a second linear conductor 12b and linear conductors 14 and 15 as third conductors, which are constituted in the substrate 11. The first and second linear conductors 12a and 12b are arranged on one straight line. Confronting ends and power feeding terminals 13a and 13b are electrically connected by vias 16a and 16b. The length of the linear conductor 14 being the third conductor is shorter than the total of the length of the first conductor 12a and the second conductor 12b and the length of the linear conductor 15 being the third conductor is longer than the total of the length of the first conductor 12a and that of the second conductor 12b. The respective conductors 12a, 12b, 14 and 15 are arranged in parallel. |
