PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adaptively compensate gain fluctuation, inter-code interference, base line fluctuation, flat loss and DC offset by providing a feedback loop, which controls the transmission function of a compensation circuit in response to an error signal and is provided with a digital integrator, coupled between an adapted circuit and at least one compensation circuit. SOLUTION: A comparator 58 of a receiver front end detects whether a value in each time slot of an incoming data signal expresses digital '1' or '0' and a timing recovery circuit 60 captures the timing of the incoming signal, synchronizes a reception station to the incoming data signal and further uses data by outputting them to the other circuit for decoding. A high-pass filter 50 is a first adaptive compensation circuit on a data path and this compensates the base line fluctuation together with a low-pass filter 62. An automatic gain control(AGC) circuit 52 is an adaptive correction circuit for correcting the flat loss.
