PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deformation of the combustion chamber of a heat- exchanger brazed by a heating furnace. SOLUTION: In a heat-exchanger, reinforcement plates 5 made of stainless to effect reinforcement by bringing it into contact with a side wall 16b and a corner part 16a from the inner side of an inner drum 16 are situated on the right and the left side to prevent deformation of the inner drim 16, of which a combustion chamber consists, during brazing. When the heat-exchanger is incorporated in a heat-exchanger body case, a press plate 6 fixed at the heat- exchanger body case with a rear wall lower part 16d of the inner drum 16 being nipped therebetween and fixing parts 5c being a part of the reinforcement plates 5 are simultaneously nipped in a U-shaped gap 6a to fix the reinforcement plates 5 for the inner drum 16 and the heat-exchanger body case.
