The granite worktop is composed of panels (1) in a single piece formed from granite elements which are stuck edge to edge. Their assembly is reinforced by stainless steel pins arranged in the panels' lower surfaces in horizontal grooves transverse to the element joint planes. The edge of the panels are formed from narrow, long pieces (3) so as not to have joints on the rectilinear parts.
