<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speed up preventive maintenance operation by connecting a server to a client by a radio LAN and clarifying the priority level of maintenance operation to an operator. SOLUTION: This preventive maintenance system for production facilities comprises a preventive maintenance server 1 which stores information regarding maintenance operation in a database, retrieves the information regarding the maintenance operation, and provides it for a preventive maintenance mobile client 5 and the preventive maintenance mobile client 5 which inputs actually- done maintenance operation contents to the preventive maintenance server 1 and browses information regarding the preventive maintenance server 1. The preventive maintenance server 1 and the preventive maintenance mobile client 5 which is provided for each production line, placed nearby the production line, and portable are connected by a radio LAN 6. Consequently, the preventive maintenance operator is able to input the maintenance operation contents on the spot and refer to the information regarding the maintenance operation on the preventive maintenance server 1 on the spot.</p> |
