PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent snow from piling up on a cooling fan or the like. SOLUTION: This is a snow cover device 10 which is equipped with rails 11 being provided in parallel, catching a fan stack 4, on both sides of the fan stack 4 surrounding a cooling fan, and snow covers 24L and 24R for opening and closing the top of the fan stack 4, running on the rails 11, and one rail 11 out of the parallel rails 11 is equipped with a spiral shaft 15 which extends in the longitudinal direction of the rail 11 and is driven by a rotary motor 17, and the other rail 11 is equipped with a groove 22 which extends in the longitudinal direction of the rail 11. The snow covers 24L and 24R are equipped with sliders 27 which are provided to slide along the rails by the rotation of the spiral shafts 15, and projections 29 which are provided to slide in the grooves 22 of the rails 11.
