PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover quickly a room temperature from a level lowered by ventilation, by a fast heating operation, without impairing a heater. SOLUTION: In the case when a room temperature lowers to a prescribed value or below in a prescribed time before or after a time point of operation of an operation extension switch 7, this is judged to have been caused by excessive ventilation, and a fast heating operation is made executable so that the room temperature be recovered as quickly as possible. Besides, the fast heating operation is designed to be executed only in the condition that the room temperature lowers to the prescribed value or below, so that comfortable heating be conducted without impairing a combustion part, a heat exchanger or others.
