The use of acrylic polymers or functionalized silica supports in oxidation catalysts is new. A catalytic support can be either a copolymer A, composed of (a) 30-90 wt.% of primary monomer (I), defined as support component and consisting of N-(meth)acrylyl polymethylene imine of formula (I); R1 = H or methyl radical; Z = -(CH2)n1- or -(CH2)2-X-(CH2)2- radical; n1 = 4, 5 or 6; X = O or -N(CH3)- , or of N-(meth)acrylyl dialkoylamide of formula (II); R1 = H or methyl radical; R2 and R2' = independently, methyl or ethyl radical; (b) 2-50 wt.% of second monomer (II) defined as crosslinking agent and consisting of N,N'-bis (meth)acrylyl diaminoalkane of formula (III); n2 = 1 or 2; and (c) 2-65 wt.% of third monomer (III) defined as functionalizing agent and consisting of N-(meth)acrylyl aminoacid of formula (IV); R1 = H or methyl radical; R3 = H or methyl radical; n3 = 1, 2, 3 or 5; or asymmetric L series N-(meth) acrylyl aminoacid (or ester) of formula (V); R1 and R3 = H or methyl radical; R4 = methyl, isopropyl, isobutyl, benzyl, 4-methoxybenzyl, methyl thioethyl or aminobutyl radical; or N-(meth) acrylyl (L) proline (or its methyl ester) of formula (VI); R1 and R3 = H or methyl radical, with copolymer A designed by formula (P)-C(O)-OR3; or silica B of formula SiPrNH2, functionalized with propylamine groups and modified by reaction of free amine group. |
