<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print out only the specified contents of electronic mail to any arbitrary printer. SOLUTION: When electronic mail arrives at a mail server 2 through the Internet 1, an incoming reporting device 3 reports it through a telephone network 5 to a telephone terminal 6 as the destination of the mail. A user originates a call from the telephone terminal 6 to an electronic mail converting device 4 and when a request to the electronic mail is performed, the electronic mail converting device 4 acquires the contents of the electronic mail and reports the contents such as the destination or attached file of the electronic mail to the telephone terminal 6. When the user inputs the telephone number of a designated FAX 7 and the item of the electronic mail to be printed from the telephone terminal 6, the electronic mail converting device 4 connects the FAX 7 and prints the designated contents of the electronic mail. When data such as word processing or tabulation are attached to the electronic mail, they are automatically converted to FAX data and printed out while using an application corresponding to the data by the electronic mail converting device 4.</p> |
