PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct the Z-directional luminance variation of a scanning type laser microscope. SOLUTION: A signal processing part 110 which processes an obtained image is equipped with a mean luminance calculation part 121 which calculates the mean luminance of respective obtained image data, a correction coefficient calculation part 122 which calculates correction coefficients for reference image data selected out of the obtained image data from the mean luminance of the image data calculated by the calculation part 121, and a luminance conversion part 123 which corrects the luminance according to the correction coefficients calculated respectively for the image data.
