PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase flexibility in selecting an installation location and reduce equipment cost, in an air-core coil forming apparatus for forming an air-core coil by spirally winding a wire. SOLUTION: An air-core coil forming apparatus comprises a sheath separating section 20 for partially separating the sheath of a sheathed wire 1, a wire supply section 30 for feeding the wire 1 by a required length, a coil forming section 40 for forming an air-core coil by winding the wire 1 around a motor-rotated shaft 41, and a lead cutting section 50 for cutting the wire 1 to lengths which are required for air-core coil forming. In this case, all driving devices for respectively driving the sections 20, 30, 40 and 50 are constituted to be electrically- driven. |
