<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coloring composition for a blue color filter good in spectral characteristics, actually having light absorption high at 550 nm and low at 450 nm, by using a phthalocyanine compound having a trifluoromethyl group as a pigment. SOLUTION: In this coloring composition for a color filter formed by dispersing a pigment in an acrylic unsaturated compound and/or a transparent resin, the pigment is a phthalocyanine compound having at least one trifluoromethyl group. This phthalocyanine compound has at least one trifluoromethyl group, and is copper phthalocyanine compound capable of being represented by the formula. In the formula, M is a metal; n1-n4 are 0 to 4 respectively, but all are not 0. This phthalocyanine compound can be used alone, or used together with an additive such as a dispersant or a plasticizer and an inorganic pigment such as calcium carbonate during pigmenting, dry blending after drying, and dispersing.</p> |
