PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a planographic printing material which ensures stable printing performance from a time immediately after the coating of a physical developing nucleus layer. SOLUTION: When a planographic printing material having a physical developing nucleus layer on a silver halide emulsion layer is produced, after the coating and drying of the physical developing nucleus layer, warming is carried out in such a way that the transferred silver density of the unexposed part is lowered by >=0.05. Superior printing resistance and ink receptivity are ensured and a higher effect is expected by lowering the transferred silver density by >=0.07.
