PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a manual elimination or an automatic elimination requiring no manual operation for a temperature difference between a surface side of a bathtub water and a bottom side of the bathtub generated when bathtub water filled in the bathtub is heated by a bath furnace such as a gas furnace of a bath device. SOLUTION: There are provided a pump 4 capable of agitating bath water under a state in which either a part of or all the body 1 of an agitating device is placed in bathtub water, a temperature sensor 8 for sensing a temperature of the bath tub water; and a controller 11 for controlling the pump 4 in response to temperature information obtained from the sensor 8. In the case where the controller 11 detects the fact that a temperature variation attained by the sensor 8 exceeds a set value within a predetermined time, the pump 4 is operated.
