The device uses measuring components (7a,7b) incorporated in the in-line skate or skateboard, for detecting the movement parameters via the interaction between a wheel of the skate or skateboard and the ground and a transmitter (34) supplying the movement parameter data to a synchronized receiver incorporated in a display device (50) in the line of sight of the skater or skateboarder. An Independent claim for a movement parameter measuring and display method is also included.
