In the operator of an engine (1) charged by means of an exhaust gas turbo supercharger, a locking valve (8) in an overflow line (7) is opened, depending on the operation point, to take compressed charge air from the charge air line (5) by an exhaust gas line (6) to the turbine (11) of the supercharger (10) at driving pressure difference (p2-p3). The overflow line is forced open at set pressure difference to return exhaust gas to the charge air line. |
