The supporting structure (1) is made up of several mutually parallel elements (2) operably connected to the side face elements (4,7) to give spaces (8,9) crossways and closed off alternately by one or other side element (4,7). A supporting element (2) consists of two elements (3,3a) joined at 90 deg and fixed to the adjoining similarly angle-joined elements and made of wooden planks or boards. Element (2) is rounded or with profiled walls to make up a concave U-profile shape and the series of roof etc elements (2) thus formed are arranged in parallel so their concave sides face one or other side element (4,7). These elements (2) can be fixed to one and possibly both of the side elements and their free spaces (8,9) are filled with insulating or filling material for heat and/or noise insulation. The side elements come in coated or carpeted plasterboard.
