PURPOSE: An electronic transaction method having an insurance function and the system are provided to activate electronic transactions by configuring the reliability of electronic transactions and by preventing customers from being damaged due to electronic transactions. CONSTITUTION: An electronic transaction system having an insurance function is composed of a shopping mall(200), a client interface(400) and an insurance company interface(300). If a client orders desired goods through an internet line(100) in a shopping mall, the shopping mall provides goods information through an internet line(110). If the client made an insurance contract, the client transmits information and the price necessary for the insurance contract using an internet line(120) and the insurance company carries out associated response through an internet line(130).
