PURPOSE: A lithium ion polymer cell is provided to have a sealing structure which can prevent leakage of electrolyte solution by enhancing adhering strength of interfaces. CONSTITUTION: A battery cell(11), an anode lead(14) and a cathode lead(15) are sealed by an insulating case(26) provided with a cover. The insulating case(26) is composed of a multi-layer formed with a PEAA(polyethylene-co-acrylic acid layer) layer(21), a polyethylene layer(17), an aluminium layer(18) and a nylon layer(24) which are stacked in sequence from the inner surface. The aluminium layer(18) prevents leakage of moisture or air into the cell. The polyethylene layer(17) electrically shields the battery cell(11), and aids the PEAA layer(21) and the aluminium layer(18) to weld each other. The nylon layer(24) protects underlying layers with its hardness, flexibility and insulation performance. |
