PURPOSE: A gas leakage sensing apparatus is provided to achieve an improved sensing performance with accuracy and reduced work process while eliminating the necessity of initial setting of reference voltage. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus which senses gas leakage by recognizing voltage change according to a change of resistance value of a sensor resistance, comprises a control unit(100) for recognizing when a difference between a voltage recognized through a reference point of a bridge balancing circuit including a resistance consisting of a gas leakage sensor and a changed voltage is higher than a predetermined level, and a voltage distribution unit(110) constituted by a serial resistance and which distributes uppermost and lowermost voltage so as to make the voltage recognition width to be detail when the control unit recognizes the reference voltage of the bridge balancing circuit having the gas sensor, the control unit recognizing the difference between the changed voltage and the reference voltage through a sensor resistance and subdivides the voltage distribution unit into resistances(R31,R32,R33,R34), thus allowing an accurate sensing of gas leakage.
