PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the dewatering performance of a horizontal centrifugal dewatering apparatus, save energy, and reduce cost. SOLUTION: In a centrifugal dewatering apparatus comprising a bowl 1 rotatable at high speed and a screw conveyer 10 housed in the bowl, the bowl 1 is so formed as to have a circular front end wall 4 projected slightly toward the axial center in the front end of a transverse straight trunk part 2 and at the same time as to have a filtrate discharge part 6a in the periphery of the outer circumferential part of the rear end wall of the straight trunk part 2. The screw conveyer 10 is enabled to supply a raw liquid to the rear part to the filtrate discharge part 6a.
