PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an ink jet recording and heat-sensitive recording hybrid perfecting recording medium not generating bleeding on an ink jet recording face nor generating fog and decoloring on a heat-sensitive recording face. SOLUTION: A perfecting recording medium is provided with the ink jet recording adaptability imparted on one face of a paper base composed of a pulp as a main component and having a heat-sensitive recording layer on an opposite face, and when a polyethylene glycol 10% water solution of 0.5 ml micro-syringe is dripped on a face of ink jet recording adaptability, the time before the water solution permeates heat-sensitive recording layer face is 30 seconds or longer.
