PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject cleanser soluble in water at a rate not significantly different throughout the year because of being hardly dependent on water temperature, and high in cleansing power, or the like by including specific compound(s), a specific surfactant, a liquid hydrophobic matter, and specific filler(s) in specified proportions. SOLUTION: This cleanser is obtained by including (A) 5-80 wt.% of an N-acyltaurine salt of the formula R-CO-N(CH3)-C2H4-SO3M (R is an 8-22C alkyl; M is an alkali metal) and/or an N-acylamino acid salt of the formula R-CO-N (CH3)-CH2-COOM, (B) 1-35 wt.% of a nonionic surfactant >=45 deg.C in melting point, (C) 0.5-30 wt.% of a hydrophobic matter liquid at 20 deg.C, and (D) 0-83.5 wt.% of at least one kind selected from inorganic water-soluble fillers and organic water-soluble fillers. It is preferable that the cleanser is produced by extrusion molding, press molding, tablet molding, or the like.
