<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent mesh plates from clogging without spoiling a flow straightening effect and to stably form an overlaying part having excellent quality with high efficiency by feeding a shielding gas via a plurality of mesh plates having a net opening larger than the maximum grain size of overlaying material powder. SOLUTION: Preferably, a nozzle for feeding an overlaying material and a nozzle for feeding a shielding gas are coaxially disposed, three or more mesh plates are superposed and used, and the wire positions of each mesh plate are shifted from each other and disposed. The powder feeding nozzle 3 is screw- combined so as to communicate to a powder feeding path 2a formed at the axial core part of the nozzle main body 2, and the overlaying material is fed to the vicinity of the working spot of laser beams. In the gas nozzle 4, mesh plates consisting of the metallic net of e.g. 20 meshes are arranged between a base end side cylinder part 4a and a tip end side cylinder part 4b so that the positions of wires are not overlapping by rotationally moving the direction of the wires e.g.α=15 deg. each, and whereby the flow of the shielding gas is straightened.</p> |
