PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a lumen from collapsing by folding at connection end faces of a tubular member and a catheter connector by forming the catheter connector on a medical tubular member or at the end and varying step by step the flexibility of the connection area of the tubular member with the catheter connector. SOLUTION: A medical tubular member 6 has lumens 1 and 2 and is divided to branches 4 and 5 through a catheter connector 3. In a connection area 7 where the catheter connector 3 and the medical tubular member 6 are connected, the cross sectional area of the catheter connector 3 is increased gradually from the tip side and recesses 8 are provided in the process of variation of the cross sectional area. In the connection area 7, by decreasing the cross sectional area of the covered portion of the catheter connector 3 toward the medical tubular member 6 and forming the covered portion of the cross section irregularly, the flexibility of the catheter connector 3 is brought closer to the flexibility of the medical tubular member 6 and by connecting without varying suddenly the cross sectional area, fracture of the medical tubular member 6 is prevented. |
