PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable safe use and shorten treatment time by forming the outside diameter of the portion of a needle that is stuck into the body thinner than the outside diameter of the portion that is fixed to a flexible pipe, in a needle attached to the tip of a flexible pipe passing through the forceps hole of an endoscope. SOLUTION: An endoscopic drug solution injection needle is a double tube structure made up of an inner tube 2, to the tip of which a needle 1 is attached, and an outer tube 3 outside the inner tube 2, and by moving back and forth the rear end of the inner tube 2 in the axial direction of the tube, the needle 1 is projected out or withdrawn from the tip of the outer tube 3. In this case, the outside diameter of the part of the needle that is stuck into the body is smaller than the outside diameter of the part of the needle that is fixed to the flexible pipe. Preferably, a difference between the cross sectional area of the cavity of the part of the needle that is fixed to the flexible pipe and the cross sectional area of the cavity of the part of the needle that is stuck into the body is 0.20 mm2 to 0.60 mm2, thereby increasing the cross sectional area of the inner tube 2 and reducing the injection resistance of a drug solution. |
