PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lighting device for a combination lock which is openable by combining figures, by which the lock can be unlocked without preparing a light such as a flashlight when unlocking the lock in a dark place in the night or the like. SOLUTION: A light emitting diode 16 is incorporated in one end of the outer periphery of a body 6 provided with a fitting groove 7 in which the bottom of a combination lock 2 can be inserted. A battery cover 9 is disposed in the fitting groove 7 or the bottom face of the body 6 and a battery 13 is charged in a battery holder 12 at the inside of the battery cover 9. Further, a switch for controlling the lighting of the light emitting diode 16 is disposed at the bottom face of the body 6 or other faces.
