PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress corrosion at a portion adjacent to a gap in a beam by giving rustproofing treatment by coating inorganic zinc at least to a portion corresponding to a gap between beams on the inner surface of a coupling plate coupling beams. SOLUTION: An adhering surface of a web coupling plate 6 is treated with sandblasting or the like, impurities such as rust on the surface are completely removed and the base metal surface is exposed, and surface where the plate 6 comes into contact with a web portion 4a of a connection beam 4 and the surface comes into contact with the web portion 5a of the base metal beam 5 are cured, and a rustproof treated portion 10 having the width larger than the gap G is left alone relative to the gap G. Next, inorganic zinc is coated to a treated portion 10, a coated surface with the inorganic zinc bas a friction resistance identical to the friction resistance in red rusted state and after coating, the curing is removed after sufficient drying. Next, web portions 4a, 5a are cramped with two sheets of plates 6, 6, and the connection beam 4 and the base metal beam 5 are coupled together through a bolt 7 and a plate 6.
