PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an ink jet recording sheet of superior ink absorbability, resistance to cracks and glossiness in which a film improving agent not containing boron generating an environmental problem is used. SOLUTION: An ink jet recording sheet is provided with at least one ink acceptive layer containing inorganic solid fine particles and a hydrophilic binder on a substrate, and at least one kind compound represented by the formula is contained in the ink acceptive layer. In the formula, A represents a hydroxyl and an amino. R1, R2 and R3 represent a substituent bonded with one atom out of a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or a carbon atom, an oxygen atom, a nitrogen atom and a sulfur atom, and R2 and R3 can be bonded together to form a cyclic structure. |
