PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polypropylene film having a large heat shrinkage in the direction perpendicular to film flow, having an excellent adhesion of the film to an object to be packaged when being used for heat shrink packaging and not causing wrinkles and unevenness in shrinkage, excellent in automatic packaging aptitude and suitable for heat shrink packaging uses. SOLUTION: This polypropylene film is characterized by the following properties: having an amorphous orientation parameter [TD-AOP] of >=0.3 (preferably 0.32-0.38), defined as the product of a direction cosine <cos2ϕTD> by an amorphous fraction (1-χc) of molecular chains in the amorphous region of the polypropylene film in the cross direction; and having the crystallization degree of <=50% (preferably 25-45%). |
