PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate problems that conventional continuous rice-roasting machines need long times for producing roasted rice, because of using unhulled rice treated in a soaking process, are non-profitable because of requiring an installation for the soaking process, cause irregular heating, and can not stably produce high grade roasted rice. SOLUTION: This machine for continuously roasting rice comprises a hopper 10 in which at least unhulled rice R is charged, a screw conveyer 20 which is disposed under the hopper 10 and is used for continuously carrying at least the unhulled rice R in the hopper 10 in the downstream direction, a rotary multiangular outer cylinder 30 in which the unhulled rice R carried from the screw conveyer 20 is charged and which is used for carrying the unhulled rice R in the longitudinal direction, burners 40 which are arranged at places near to the rotary multiangular outer cylinder 30 and which are used for heating the unhulled rice R in the rotary multiangular outer cylinder 30, and a water supply portion 50 which is disposed in the hopper 10 or on the upstream side of the rotary multiangular outer cylinder 30 and which is used for supplying water to be mixed with the unhulled rice R.
