PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain both a prepreg and a laminate by using a powdery epoxy resin composition without using an organic solvent, to save resource and energy and to reduce air pollution. SOLUTION: This prepreg comprises a powdery epoxy resin composition consisting of (a) an epoxy resin, (b) an aromatic polyamine and (c) a guanide compound as essential components on at least one side of a sheetlike fibrous substrate. The powder epoxy resin composition is composed of the components of powdery state, which are provided with mechanical energy and subjected to surface fusion between powder particles by a mechanochemical reaction or kneaded under heating or mixed in a molten state and pulverized.
