PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a writing instrument capable of easily and effectively confirming an ink residue and an ink color particularly in a raw ink type writing instrument with a collector. SOLUTION: The writing instrument of a direct liquid type (raw ink type) comprises a holder 14 for holding a pen core 10 at a front end 12a of a barrel 12 in the state that a nib 10a of the core 10 is projected, an ink tank 16 containing raw ink 16 supplied to the core 10, and a collector 18 for temporarily storing the ink in the barrel 12. The collector 18, the barrel 12 and the tank 16 are formed of colorless transparent members, and a mouth 20 of an outer periphery of the holder 14 is formed of a resin member having the same color as the ink in the tank 16 or ink writing color. |
