PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with a stand or an attachment and greatly improve the laying workability of a tarp. SOLUTION: Four rail members 3-6 formed as a rectangular frame-shape are put on the roof 1 of a vehicle and the tarp device is slidably housed in the inside of the rail members 3-6. Bar members 7-9 for fitting the tarp are provided so that the tarp is fixed by the rail members 3-6 at positions stretched sideways from the rail members 3-6. The tarp 13 is detachably attached to these bar members 7-9 through clips 17.
