PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the effect of exercise by bending and stretching naturally the knees and moving the weight to the right and left of the waist without moving the entire weight to one foot during the bending and stretching exercise of ankles. SOLUTION: A necessary exercise device is structured by supporting a shaft 4 arranged crosswise on bearings 2 and 3 provided on a pedestal 1 and bearing a rotating shaft 5 as an outer pipe formed integrally in the undersides of a pair of right and left tread plates 6 on the shaft 4. When using the device, the user puts his/her feet on the pair of tread plates 6 one by one and stands and bends and stretches the ankles alternately back and forth. At this time, from the legs, the lower limbs are exercised, strengthening the legs. Protrusions 7 are formed in the centers of the tread plates 6, press the arches of feet during the bending and stretching of the ankles, and also function as a slip prevention device. A rotation limiter 8 is provided in an appropriate position of a pedestal 1.
