PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably print without unnecessarily eating air bubbles by setting to a specific value a distance between an edge of a channel resistance hole which connects ink from a common ink chamber to an individual channel, and an ink chamber wall in a direction parallel to an overlap direction at the opposite side to an ink feed part from the hole. SOLUTION: A second and a third channel parts 15 and 16 having a plurality of holes obtained by processing a photosensitive glass, SUS, ceramics or the like by pressing, cutting or the like, a nozzle plate 8 and a first channel part 5 are combined by a thermosetting or two-component type epoxy adhesive, joining such as direct joining of SUS under a high temperature and a pressure, anode joining via glass or the like manner, whereby a minute space where ink flows in the ink jet head is formed. A distance between an edge of a channel resistance hole 17 for connecting the ink from a common ink chamber 18 to an individual channel 10 and a wall B of the common ink chamber 18 at the opposite side to an ink feed part 14 seen from the channel resistance hole 17 and in a direction substantially parallel to an overlap direction is set to be within 50μm.
