PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject mulch sheet which has a multi-layered structure, does not affect soil, can be made in improved paper productivity and has an improved paper force and whose degradation with microorganisms in soil can be controlled, by disposing outer layers containing mechanical pulp in a specific amount on both the surfaces of an inner layer containing chemical pulp in a specific amount. SOLUTION: This mulch sheet has a multi-layered structure having three or more layers, and is obtained by disposing outer layers containing mechanical pulp in an amount of 50-100 wt.% on both the surfaces of one or more inner layers containing chemical pulp in an amount of 70-100 wt.%. Concretely, the mulch sheet thus prepared can hold its shape without being degraded for about 90 days, when applied to an upland field in summer, and can be degraded about 30 days later after plowed in the upland field.
