PURPOSE: A device for controlling engine output is provided to control an amount of exhaust gas according to a TCL(Traction Control System) signal which controls engine driving force and slip generated in case of vehicle turning, for reducing the engine driving force via the engine brake effect, thereby obtaining the stability of vehicle turning and reliability of driving. CONSTITUTION: A device for controlling engine output includes a TCL for analyzing signals applied from a steering wheel sensor in case of turning of a vehicle and carrying out the control of engine driving force and slip via an actuator, a vehicle speed detecting element for detecting a vehicle driving speed by detecting a rotation velocity of an output shaft, a frequency/voltage converting element for converting a frequency signal of the vehicle speed detecting element to a voltage signal, a TPS(Throttle Position Sensor) for detecting an opening degree of a throttle valve which is varied according to the vehicle driving speed, a muffler control element for analyzing a TCL signal, a vehicle speed signal, an engine rpm signal, and a throttle opening degree signal to output a signal for controlling a discharge amount of exhaust gas, and a driving element to be driven by the signal applied from the muffler control element for controlling an exhaust gas valve.
