PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a blanked and twisted thin type half front frame which can be easily produced by blanking and twisting from a metallic sheet body with a high efficiency, is structurally integrated and is highly durable by forming lens abutment parts which abut on lens side edges by twisting the downwardly facing arcuate end sides of rims. SOLUTION: Lens abutment parts 22 are constituted by twisting the downwardly pendent arcuate ends 21 at both ends of top rims 2. These lens abutment parts are pierced with connecting holes 23 to connect spectacle bands B to connecting holes 23 on both sides of the top rims 2, thereby, the lower parts of the lenses L are suspended and supported. The half front frame is the integral structure obtained by blanking and twisting of the metallic sheet. Since the outer peripheral edges of the lenses 1 clamped at the rims 2 have bored hollow grooves LT in the half front frame, the right and left top rims 2 are fitted into the upper parts of the hollow grooves LT. As a result, the rims 2 are concealed and are hardly visible when viewed from front and the appearance like that of rimless spectacles is obtained.
