PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve position accuracy that can be utilized by a personal navigation system and to reduce power consumption by combining a car navigation system with a personal navigation system utilizing a handy, portable GPS receiver that can be used by an outdoor field. SOLUTION: A car navigation system 1 with a GPS position measuring means, a storage means for storing map information, and a display means for displaying a current position that is obtained by the GPS position measuring means with map information that is read from the storage means is provided with a means for creating correction information for DGPS for improving position accuracy by reducing the influence of an error part included in a GPS signal in advance. Also, communication means 2 and 4 are provided between the car navigation system 1 and a personal navigation system 3 utilizing a handy, portable GPS receiver that can be used in an outdoor field.
