PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analog/digital converter which can prevent the occurrence of ringing and kickback due to the change of the input impedance of an analog input terminal by making the input impedance of the analog input terminal to be constant in terms of AC and DC and controlling the change quantity. SOLUTION: An adjusting switch 118 is turned on when an analog connection switch in a comparator is turned off and is turned off when the switch is turned on. When the analog connection switch is turned off, an analog input terminal 5 is separated from a capacitor in the comparator but an adjusting capacitor 117 is connected through the adjusting switch 118. Thus, the input impedance of the analog input terminal 5 is considered to be constant regardless of the state of the analog connection switch. Then, the change quantity of the input impedance of the analog input terminal 5 can be controlled and the occurrence of ringing and kickback due to the change of the input impedance of the analog input terminal 5 can be prevented.
