PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a method positively controlling tapping speed at the tapping of a cold crucible inductive melting device, and provide a tapping method easily applying to various casting methods such as a continuous casting method by tapping at uniform speed. SOLUTION: In this tapping method of a cold crucible induction melting device in which a melting coil 21 is wound on the outer circumference of a crucible body having a tapping hole in the bottom, a tapping coil 22 is wound on the outer circumference, the height of molten metal is detected with a detecting means 40, current value of the melting coil 21 is controlled in accordance with the height of molten metal, and while tapping, the height of molten metal is controlled to control tapping speed. By holding the height of molten metal constant, the tapping speed is controlled so as to be constant.
