PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable immuno-analysis both by a heterogeneous analytical method and by a homogeneous analytical method relative to the same immuno-analytical items in one analyzer. SOLUTION: A test body held on a test body rack is conveyed by a conveyance line 3, and as for most immuno-analytical items, immuno-analysis is executed by an immuno-analytical module, 5 or 6, and as for biochemical analytical items, biochemical analysis is executed by a biochemical analytical unit, 7 or 8. As for immuno-analytical items analyzable both by a heterogeneous immuno-analytical method and by a homogeneous immuno-analytical method, an operator selects beforehand which analytical method is to be used for analysis, and the result is memorized in a control part and an analytical treatment is executed following the memorized content. As for analytical items analyzable by both analytical methods, if the heterogeneous analytical method is selected, the analytical treatment is executed by the immuno-analytical unit 5, and if the homogeneous analytical method is selected, the analytical treatment is executed by the biochemical analytical unit 7.
