PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dimensional measuring tool for a tatami mat with a light weight that is easily handled and also capable of measuring a deviation value in plus and minus to a standard dimension of the tatami mat of a measuring object until a scale in a unit below 'Rin'. SOLUTION: The measuring tool comprises a measuring rule 2A having marks 21 indicating types of tatami mat such as 'Five-eight', 'Three-six' and 'Honma' at each position of 2-shaku and 9-sun, 3-shaku, 3-shaku and 1-sun and 5-bu from a top end with a scale 22 marked with 'Japanese-shaku, Japanese-sun, Japanese-bu', a cursor 1B fitting a slidable measuring object along the rule 2A, and attaches a vernier scale 13 for reading a reference line 11 on the cursor 1B and a scale in a unit below 'Rin' with the line 11 as a starting point.
