PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reader that is provided with a lighting unit by which adjustment works such as alignment can easily and surely be conducted. SOLUTION: The image reader converts image information read by lighting an image side 4 of an original into an electric signal. The image processor is provided with a lighting section that has an integrated configuration consisting of resin optical element 3 that emits a light from a light source to light up the image side 4 and an array of light emitting elements 2. Since a board 1 including the light source and the resin optical element 3 are integrated, the handling in the succeeding assembling process can be facilitated. |
